In today’s digital era, businesses require seamless connectivity and optimal application performance across their globally dispersed sites to stay productive. Combining Versa Networks Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) with Hyperscalers‘ “private highways” is an innovative approach to achieve this goal.
Looking to learn the signs why its time to consider a new SD-WAN? Explore the key indicators that your current SD-WAN might be falling short here!
Zero Trust is widely considered to be the future of security for protecting networks, systems and data in both commercial and public sector organizations. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has been making significant strides in modernizing its cybersecurity infrastructure in response to a presidential mandate to adopt a Zero Trust architecture.
In recent years we’ve witnessed transformative changes in both technology and the retail industry. The retail world has seen tremendous ups and downs over the past several years thanks to the impact of COVID. In addition to challenges such as store closures, reduced foot traffic, and supply chain problems, digital disruptions include an increasing shift to e-commerce and new types of cyber threats that have dramatically changed how people shop and how retail businesses should operate. In the technology world, numerous stunning innovations such as AI/ML-assisted network operations and threat detection are making people’s jaws drop because of their capabilities…
Today, AWS announced Tunnel-less Connect on Cloud WAN. This new capability provides customers with a simple, high-performance mechanism to build a global SD-WAN architecture using AWS Global Network as a middle-mile transport network. With this capability, SD-WAN appliances can natively peer with Cloud WAN using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) without the need for tunneling. Native BGP support between SD-WAN appliances in a VPC and AWS Cloud WAN, without the need for tunnels, simplifies the extension of SD-WAN deployments in AWS cloud and enables access to AWS’ high bandwidth global network for branch-to-cloud connectivity. As part of this announcement, Versa Secure…
As cyber-attacks become increasingly sophisticated and the likelihood of threats in the infrastructure rise, our customers have explored new ways to not only secure the initial point of access but also mechanisms to continuously monitor their security posture.
For years, Versa and Intel have partnered on innovations that have continually pushed the boundaries of what has been possible in our industry. Building on these efforts, we are excited to share a sneak peek of our Versa Secure SD-NIC at Intel Innovation 2023 on September 19-20.
I recently read an article in CRN where Zscaler CEO Jay Chaudhry stated that he’s not a believer in SASE because he thinks “SD-WAN is anti-zero trust.” I respect Jay immensely, but I must respectfully disagree with this statement.
The global pandemic and rise in remote work has forced organizations to review how they provide remote workers access to IT resources. Existing solutions based on virtual private networks (VPN) can’t keep pace with the scale of remote users and often lead to a poor end-user experience.
The report breaks down the most critical steps to achieve when planning for SASE implementation that dispels any notion that SASE can be broken down into just components. A cohesive strategy requires equal consideration of the branch transformation and the security maturation of ubiquitous protection of users, devices, and applications.
