Versa Achieves Exceptional Results in CyberRatings.org SSE Threat Protection and ZTNA Tests

Versa SSE Threat Protection: Unmatched Security Performance

Key Highlights 

Versa achieved an overall 99.96% protection rate and AAA rating across all the Cyberratings Threat Protection tests for SSE. 

• Exploits – 100%: A perfect score, blocking 100% of 205 tested exploits. 

• Malware – 99.96%: Our solution blocked all 7,140 malware samples, showcasing our effectiveness in protecting against a wide array of threats. 

• Evasion – 100%: Our SSE successfully thwarted 1,124 evasion techniques, ensuring that sophisticated attacks cannot not bypass our defenses. 

• HTTPS Performance:  CyberRatings measured SSE capacity with security turned on and processing varying packet sizes and connections. Versa delivered extremely high HTTP and HTTPS performance, with HTTPS throughput peaking at 3,253 Mbps. 

Additionally, we demonstrated excellent support for a broad set of encryption standards, including TLS 1.3, which accounts for over 66% of all web traffic in the world. This ensures that our users can rely on secure connections while benefiting from comprehensive threat protection.

Versa ZTNA: Enforcing Zero Trust Security 

Key Highlights: 

Versa achieved perfect scores of 100% across all four categories of the Cyberratings ZTNA testing. 

• Authentication & Identity – 100%: Versa ZTNA passed all tests, proving its ability to support and identify connections, and apply identity-aware policies. 

• Resource Access – 100%: Versa ZTNA demonstrated robust capabilities in providing least-privilege access based on user roles, and restricting unnecessary movement within networks. 

• Routing & Policy Enforcement – 100%: The testing procedure created a complex, real-world, multi-zone configuration to ensure Versa ZTNA’s consistent and effective enforcement of network policies. Versa successfully navigated this environment to enforce all specified policies. 

• TLS/SSL – 100%: With over 80% of web traffic sent over HTTPS, abilities to detect encryption-concealed attacks and attacks against encryption protocols were tested. Again, Versa’s product proved its robustness with a perfect score. 

In addition, we demonstrated excellent TLS/SSL decryption functionality, effectively inspecting encrypted traffic to identify hidden threats without compromising user experience. The testing confirmed support for key cipher suites, such as TLS 1.3, facilitating secure communication across various environments. 

Real-World Comparison of Versa and Zscaler 

Real-world testing can be eye opening. Traditional industry analysis of the SSE market often defines a set of market leaders who have dominated the industry from the start, including Zscaler.  But according to Cyberratings SSE testing, Versa outperforms Zscaler in several key metrics.
