Laying the Foundation for SASE with Secure SD-WAN
On-Demand Webinar (59 min)
With Roy Chua, Founder and Principal at AvidThink and Michael Wood, CMO at Versa Networks
SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is a cloud-native technology that establishes networking and network security as an integral and embedded function for digital initiatives. SASE takes the place of legacy services offered by single-purpose point-solutions located in location-locked corporate premises such as data centers.
There are multiple architectural approaches to SD-WAN and not all of them pave the way for a smooth transition to SASE. Many of the current approaches are point product based, driven by the original architecture and design with which the vendor started. These approaches necessitate a bolt-on integration approach to add functionality needed through acquired technologies which were not designed into the original solution. The starting point of current approaches are router-based, SD-WAN-based, WAN Optimization-based, Firewall-based, and Secure SD-WAN. A successful Secure SD-WAN architecture begins with full-featured SD-WAN, complete integrated security, advanced scalable routing, genuine multi-tenancy, and sophisticated analytics in a single software image.
Join Roy Chua, Founder and Principal at AvidThink & Michael Wood, CMO Versa Networks as they discuss:
- Scenarios for Secure SD-WAN such as mobile, branch and cloud components
- Pain points driving SASE adoption today
- Key Capabilities a SASE Solution provides as a valuable tool for businesses to move forward.
