FIPS 140-2 – A U.S. government cryptographic-module security standard; VOS devices can operate in a FIPS 140-2 Level 1 compliant mode with restricted cipher sets, and CSG700 appliances are designed as fixed platforms with no field-replaceable parts to meet Level 2 compliance.
