Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) – An out-of-band management protocol and dedicated port that lets administrators monitor and manage server hardware, including power, sensors, and remote console, independently of the main operating system; CSG2500 and CSG5000 series appliances include a dedicated IPMI port.
