Titan Shop was Versa’s legacy order-management portal for managed service providers (MSPs): a separate MSP portal used to create customer and reseller accounts and to order hardware, software licenses, and private SASE gateways. Versa deprecated Titan Shop as of Titan Release 9.3.1, folding its order-management functionality into the Titan Portal dashboard.
Key takeaways
- Versa’s legacy MSP order-management portal, separate from Titan Portal.
- Used to create customer and reseller accounts and place device orders.
- Deprecated as of Titan Release 9.3.1; functionality moved to Titan Portal.
- Shop and the Titan Portal dashboard never synced with each other.
- The Enterprise Admin role still lists it as a legacy read-access item.

Why did Titan Shop matter?
Before order management moved fully into Titan Portal, an MSP had two separate places to run its business: the Titan Portal dashboard for onboarding and configuring devices, and Titan Shop for creating customers and ordering the hardware and licenses those devices needed. Titan Shop existed because those commercial actions – placing an order, provisioning a license, standing up a private gateway – were originally built as their own workflow rather than as part of the day-to-day device dashboard.
That split created real friction. Shop and the Titan Portal dashboard did not synchronize customer or device records with each other, so an MSP had to commit to one system for a given customer and stick with it – mixing the two for the same account risked inconsistent state. Versa’s own release documentation recommended exactly that: start in Shop or start in the dashboard, but don’t switch back and forth. Folding Shop’s functionality into Titan Portal in Release 9.3.1 removed that split and its risk.
What was Titan Shop?
Titan Shop was the MSP-facing order-management portal, distinct from the Titan Portal dashboard that store administrators, MSPs, resellers, and enterprise users log into for device configuration and monitoring. Where Titan Portal’s Organizations dashboard is where an MSP manages a customer day to day, Titan Shop was where the commercial side of that relationship – creating the customer, ordering their hardware and license tier, provisioning a private SASE gateway – originally happened.
By Titan Release 9.3.1, that separation was gone. Versa’s release notes for 9.3.0 and 9.3.1 state plainly that Order Management for MSPs (Titan Shop) is deprecated and that all of its functionality is available in Titan Portal, delivered through the same Organizations, Inventory, and Add Devices workflows documented for the dashboard.
What Titan Shop managed
Grounding for Titan Shop itself is limited, since its own workflow was retired before this documentation set was written – but the release notes and the surviving Titan Portal documentation describe what it covered. An MSP used Titan Shop to create customer and reseller accounts, the same task Titan Portal’s Organizations dashboard now performs through “+ New Customer.” It also covered ordering hardware and software license tiers – CSG, cCSG, vCSG, and Dell appliances, in Enterprise Security, Advanced Security, or Secure Application Optimization tiers – and provisioning private SASE gateways, including SWG and VSA services, for a customer. All three of those tasks are now performed from Titan Portal’s Organizations and Inventory dashboards instead.
Titan Shop & Titan Portal
Titan Shop’s story is a consolidation, not a feature that still runs alongside Titan Portal. Its order-management workflow – customer creation, hardware and license ordering, private gateway provisioning – was absorbed into Titan Portal as of Release 9.3.1, so an MSP performs every one of those tasks from the same Organizations and Inventory dashboards used for day-to-day device management, with no second system to keep in sync.
One artifact of that transition still surfaces in the product: the Enterprise Admin role’s default privilege list includes read access to “Titan Shop” alongside Versa Director, Versa Analytics, and Audit Logs – a naming holdover from before the consolidation, in documentation for the Titan Portal Manage Users workflow.
Frequently asked questions
Is Titan Shop still a separate portal today?
No. Order Management for MSPs (Titan Shop) was deprecated as of Titan Release 9.3.1. All the functionality it provided – creating customers, ordering hardware and licenses, provisioning private gateways – is available directly in Titan Portal.
What could an MSP do in Titan Shop that they can’t do in Titan Portal today?
Nothing exclusive remains. Everything Titan Shop covered – customer and reseller creation, hardware and license ordering, and private SASE gateway provisioning – is performed the same way in Titan Portal’s Organizations and Inventory dashboards.
Why did Versa deprecate Titan Shop?
Versa’s release documentation points to the lack of synchronization between Shop and the Titan Portal dashboard: customers created in one system were not visible in the other, so MSPs had to fully commit to one or the other. Consolidating into Titan Portal removed that split.
Did Titan Shop and Titan Portal share customer data?
No. The two systems did not synchronize with each other. Versa’s guidance for MSPs was to pick one – Shop or the dashboard – for a given customer and use it exclusively, since mixing the two for the same account had no supported reconciliation path.
Where does “Titan Shop” still appear in the product today?
In the Enterprise Admin role’s default privilege list, which includes read access to “Titan Shop” alongside Versa Director and Analytics – a naming holdover in the Titan Portal Manage Users documentation from before its functionality was folded in.
