The report evaluated the SSE offerings of 22 global security vendors and classified them as industry Leaders, Challengers, or New Entrants based on their scores across key features, innovative capabilities, and business criteria.
With this designation, Versa continues to be recognized as a Leader across all three of GigaOm’s SASE-related industry reports – SSE, SASE, and SD-WAN. In February, GigaOm recognized Versa as a Leader in the GigaOm Radar Report for SASE, while last October, Versa was distinguished as a Leader in the GigaOm Radar Report for SD-WAN. Integrated Multi-Vector Threat Protection
Versa earned top 5-star ratings in the evaluation criteria for Cloud Sandboxing, Data Loss Prevention, Configurability, Manageability, Observability, and Performance. GigaOm also singled out Versa’s multi-vector threat protection as a particular strength, citing the ability to bring a broad set of integrated security capabilities to bear “across cloud, email, endpoint, private applications, SaaS, and web attack surfaces within a single-pass architecture.”
In its summary, the report explains that “Versa takes a general platform approach to SSE, innovating with emerging features such as adversarial validation, DSPM, enterprise browser, ...GenAI agent security, and MCP support, while expanding existing capabilities.”

The report went on to note that “Versa offers transparent pricing with no hidden fees, simplifying budgeting compared to multivendor alternatives.”

In the GigaOm Radar summary matrix, Versa SSE is included in the Innovation/Platform Play quadrant, which includes vendors that “…have achieved full SSE platform capabilities and are actively innovating through emerging features….”
