Campus Network Security and NAC are Ripe for Market Disruption

Hybrid work is now the norm, with much of today’s workforce alternating between corporate offices and remote locations. Today, most enterprises use different products to secure user access in campus networks compared with remote workers. For remote work, enterprises primarily invest in VPN or ZTNA technologies. In campus environments, enterprises invest in NAC products, and/or deploy enhanced security capabilities.

As employees shift to hybrid work (whereby they work regularly both remotely and in the office), this use of multiple products is inefficient, as it leads to:

  • Remote workers having different experiences
  • Separate policy engines, that requires policies in multiple places, increasing the likelihood of inconsistency
