0:05 This is a short video on SASE for large enterprise. 0:10 So with SASE, what are we trying to deliver? 0:13 In essence, we have our sites, our stores, work from home and all our mobile workers out here and they're trying to get to their apps up in the data center, up in multi cloud and their favorite SAS applications. 0:25 So what SASE gives us is all the network and security services to enable this with the Versa solution. 0:32 These are all multi tenant with powerful analytics and every element is template based with full support for zero touch provisioning. 0:41 Our value proposition is that if we do this all with Versa, we can dramatically simplify the enterprise network and security stack. 0:49 We can have the same Versa data plane software for SD Wan security, work from home and multi cloud. 0:56 We can have SASE management all through a single pane of glass, and we can leverage common security policies across all sites and work from anywhere. 1:06 We have Versa SD Wan magic between all the sites and the cloud gateways. 1:11 And by using Versa for all SASE elements, you can realize the largest reduction in networking costs. 1:18 So what does this look like? 1:19 This is looking at a simple SASE infrastructure. 1:23 Basically, we have primarily an SD Wan infrastructure here. 1:27 So we have Versa devices out in all of our sites. 1:30 We have virtual devices out in multi cloud. 1:33 We have the Versa Secure Access client on all of our mobile worker machines. 1:37 This traffic gets tunneled back to a Versa cloud gateway. 1:42 We may have a Versa cloud gateway to weave your favorite SAS applications into your SD Wan fabric. 1:48 We have Versa Cloud management, we're leveraging your authentication server and Versa is executing all SD Wan and routing functions. 1:57 And we can enforce your enterprise security policy at the branch, a hub in a multi cloud or in a Versa cloud gateway. 2:07 In addition, we can take this modern next generation infrastructure and slice and dice it into multiple tenants and multiple overlays. 2:14 So for example, maybe you want to have one overlay for your enterprise network, but a completely separate overlay for the DMZ. 2:22 And each of these overlays has its own discrete network policy, security policy and SD Wan overlay and security keys. 2:30 This allows us to keep these two networks as air gapped as possible across the wide area network. 2:36 So what is a Versa Cloud Gateway? 2:40 They are cloud scale multi tenant gateways for security and SD Wan. 2:45 They offer direct connectivity to all major enterprise SAS applications in public clouds and the gateways are configured, deployed and monitored by the Versa NOC. 2:56 The primary use cases for the Versa Cloud Gateways are secure network access for work from anywhere. 3:02 Weave Versa Cloud Gateways into your SD Wan for direct connectivity to SAS applications in the public cloud. 3:09 They can be used as a cloud SD Wan router. 3:12 They can also be used as a cloud security solution. 3:16 So this is looking at leveraging Versa for the middle mile. 3:20 Here we have one Versa Cloud Gateway in North America, another one in EMEA and maybe multiple around the globe for secure connectivity for work from anywhere. 3:30 And then we have a global middle mile of high quality transport connecting these together to deliver a unified global network and versus taking responsibility for your middle mile. 3:41 Architecturally this looks like a single global SD Wan. 3:46 We call it a spoke to hub hub to spoke topology. 3:49 And we can have global end to end traffic engineering across the entire global network. 3:55 This is extremely powerful and this allows you to get a lot of your hub routing, hub SD Wan and hub firewall functions out of your data center. 4:05 And let's Versa take care of these for you. 4:08 And all of these Versa cloud gateways are managed by Versa. 4:13 Alternatively, you can also use the Azure or AWS global backbone as your middle mile. 4:19 So we can put Versa nodes up in each region in AWS or Azure and leverage the AWS and Azure global backbone. 4:28 So these are other middle mile options for your enterprise. 4:31 Once again, we may still want to leverage Versa Cloud Gateways for direct connectivity to your favorite applications, for cloud security for untrusted traffic and secure private access for work from anywhere. 4:45 Versa also gives you SASE deployment options. 4:49 We can go all on premise, we can go thin branch heavy cloud or thick branch thin cloud. 4:56 So whichever option you prefer, we support Versa. 5:00 Also has a very powerful security stack, and from early on we've converged routing, SD, Wan and security into a single piece of software running natively on X86. 5:12 This includes full support for IP filtering, DNS filtering, URL filtering, IDSIPS, and SSL decryption. 5:22 Versa Networks is NSS Labs recommended for next generation firewall and next Gen. 5:27 IPS. 5:28 Versa can also weave all of the major public clouds into your SD Wan fabric. 5:34 In terms of SD Wan, we support the most sophisticated overlay topologies. 5:40 We support full mesh and hub and spoke, but we also support a powerful spoke to hub to hub to spoke topology for large global enterprises with regional hubs. 5:51 Without going too deep into this slide, we offer powerful application level Slas to ensure the user experience and we can have different Slas for every individual application. 6:03 In terms of securing your network, we offer multiple options. 6:07 So on the left too, these are 100% Versa solutions. 6:11 So we can leverage the Versa security stack in the SD Wan solution, or we can send all untrusted traffic to the Versa cloud gateways and secure the traffic there and apply your security policy there. 6:23 Or we can send all the untrusted traffic to your favorite cloud security solutions such as Zscaler or Prisma or Symantec. 6:31 On any 8 core or larger appliance, we can host a third party firewall on top of Versa. 6:37 So if you still have an existing enterprise license agreement in place with, for example, Palo Alto, you could put your Palo Alto firewalls on top of Versa and send the untrusted traffic to Palo Alto for enforcement. 6:51 All of these options are available. 6:53 We want to allow customers to choose the best solution for their needs, but give them the path to go to a 100% Versa SASE solution down the road. 7:02 Which delivers the most elegant solution for the lowest price? 7:06 Versa also includes powerful analytics to give you visibility into your network. 7:11 In terms of appliances, Versa offers our own family of network appliances ranging from small cost effective appliances to very high end appliances. 7:21 Dell also offers five different network appliances that ship imaged for Versa and boot up as a Versa node, all backed up by Dell Global Supply Chain and Dell Global Next Business Day support, and you can mix and match these as you feel fit. 7:38 In summary, Versa can simplify the network, secure the network including work from anywhere, provide a single vendor SASE solution, a single pane of glass for SASE management and can optimize the user experience. 7:53 It uses the same data plane software for branch, data center, multi cloud, work from home security and SD Wan. 8:02 It implements Versa SD Wan magic between all the SASE elements. 8:07 It provides powerful networking capabilities for large enterprise, including the spoke to hub, hub to spoke topology. 8:15 It provides the most powerful multi tenancy and the most sophisticated SD Wan Slas, and we can drive down network and security costs through Versa. 8:24 SASE license consolidation. 8:28 We hope you found this useful and thank you for joining us today. 8:31 Have a great day.
