Job Description
  • Evangelize, architect, and implement new features
  • Provide technical direction to platform and other software features
  • Coordinate and drive development efforts across multiple teams
  • Help define forward-looking improvements to Versa VOS™ (formerly FlexVNF)
  • Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested code
Required skills and background
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of related development experience (multiple positions for varying experience levels open)
  • Strong C programming skills
  • Experience working with large codebases
  • Experience with operating system fundamentals like: PM, MM, etc.
  • Experience writing and debugging multi-threaded programs
  • Good oral and written communication
Following will be plus
  • Understanding of system level architecture, such as NUMA, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and memory-mapped IO
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization technologies
  • Thorough understanding of Branch security technologies
  • Experience with DPDK
  • Some familiarity with C++, Python is desirable
